NSBI is recruiting businesses to participate in a virtual trade mission to the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council (CAMSC) Virtual Diversity Procurement Fair. The focus of this event is on cultivating, building, and growing relationships with global corporations committed to doing business with diverse suppliers. As well, US and Canadian business leaders within the global supply chain will share best practices for securing contracts across sectors.
The virtual trade mission is open to Nova Scotia Aboriginal and/or Indigenous Persons and Visible Minority owned-businesses that are certified, becoming certified, or interested in becoming certified.
NSBI has defined Aboriginal and/or Indigenous Persons and Visible Minority owned-businesses by the CAMSC eligibility requirements and definitions.
Aboriginal and/or Indigenous Persons and Visible Minority owned-businesses are 51%+ owned, managed, and controlled by Aboriginal and/or Indigenous Persons and Visible Minorities.
An optional Preparatory Webinar will take place on Tuesday, April 6, 9:00 am – 11:00 am, where participants will work with a consultant to develop their capability statements and short pitches, and learn best practices on how to maximize their participation in supplier diversity events. The consultant will also follow-up with each participant after the trade mission.
All trade mission participants will be reimbursed for their registration fee by NSBI. There is no risk, no travel, and you can learn from the comfort of your own home!
Please register via the link below as well as on the event website by Friday, April 16, 2021. Diverse businesses must be registered to attend the Diversity Procurement Fair to participate.
