What does it mean to be a Scotians Global Advisor?
As a volunteer Global Advisor, you are a seasoned executive and a champion of Nova Scotia's future. You are instrumental in connecting exporters to the knowledge, experience, and people that will help their companies become more competitive on a global level. This includes everything from sharing insights around your sector and market, to introducing Nova Scotia exporters to connections in your network.
How do I get involved?
We’re currently recruiting Global Advisors located outside of Nova Scotia. We screen all applicants to ensure suitability for the program. Let us know if you would like to become a Scotians Global Advisor.

Is this a mentorship?
No. Scotians is meant to be a quick and easy way to gain knowledge, experience, and connections rather than a long-term relationship.
What can I ask a Global Advisor about?
What’s the challenge, opportunity or decision most pressing for your business? This is a good place to start! Conversations can focus on topics from business strategy to market entry plans. Remember, Scotians is not a business development or sales program so you cannot ask the Global Advisors for investment or make a sales pitch.
