What’s your tie to Nova Scotia?
I grew up in Nova Scotia and still have family there. Over the past few years, I have built a home in the Annapolis Valley as someday I plan on spending a lot more time in Nova Scotia again.
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear “Nova Scotia”?
The ocean. It’s the first thing I try to find when I get back home. Well, after I open a Keith’s!
What do you love most about doing what you do professionally?
I like the people part of my role best - creating an environment for others to thrive personally and letting them drive business results.
What’s the best lesson you ever learned?
Figure out what’s most important to you and make that a priority.
What’s the greatest asset Nova Scotia can offer the Life Sciences industry?
Nova Scotia has an amazing infrastructure of medical research and R&D with the universities, hospitals and an organization called BioNova. Nova Scotia has all the essential pieces to generate innovative medical devices that can have a positive impact on our lives and the healthcare system.
What do you miss most about Nova Scotia?
The people.
