MISSION FULL: Trade Mission to Seafood Expo Asia

Nova Scotia Business Inc., in partnership with ACOA and the Atlantic Provinces, is currently recruiting export-ready seafood companies from Nova Scotia interested in participating in an Export Café in Hong Kong and as a co-exhibitor at Seafood Expo Asia (SEA 2017), followed by a trade mission to Vietnam.


  • September 4: Export Café in Hong Kong
  • September 5 - 7: Seafood Expo Asia
  • September 8 - 9: Trade Mission to Vietnam* (tentative)

SEA 2017 is the world’s largest fish and seafood event where buyers and suppliers of seafood, from around the world, come together to network and conduct business in the lucrative Hong Kong and Asia Pacific markets.  Last year, the expo featured more than 8,800 seafood professionals from 69 countries with 190 exhibitors from 29 countries.

As a co-exhibitor in the SEA 2017 Nova Scotia Seafood booth, each company will receive the following:

  • Information stand, 2 stools and shared meeting space
  • Company listed in the show, pavilion and booth directories
  • Company logo included on high-quality Nova Scotia booth graphics
  • Two show exhibitor badges
  • Shared literature display
  • An interpreter, if required

Registration fee: $1725.00 ($1500.00 + $225.00 HST). HST will be applied when you pay through PayPal.
Registrants will be screeened for eligibility. Space is limited. Each company is responsible for all travel, accommodation, and meals in market. 

This trade mission is now full. We are no longer accepting registrations.

*About the Trade Mission to Vietnam (Tentative)
NSBI is planning to lead a mission to Vietnam immediately following SEA 2017 which will include an Export Café and Savour Event targeting key buyers, plus information sessions and market tour. Please contact Calvin Butler, Export Development Executive, at cbutler@nsbi.ca for more details.
