Learn about how to produce quality products that are safe, legally labelled, and otherwise compliant with requirements for import and sale in the UK and EU markets with an emphasis on the following:

  • Conforming with compositional and safety requirements
  • Legal food information requirements for mandatory and voluntary information
  • Marketing claims—Regulation;Co-regulation; and Self-regulation
  • Avoiding issues with enforcement authorities, and at the Port
  • The concepts of Mutual Recognition and “Assured Advice”
  • Potential regulatory challenges and opportunities of Brexit

Event starts at 8:00am both mornings with breakfast.

Facilitated by Sukh Gill, former Director of Global Regulatory Services at Leatherhead Food Research and has been advising on commercial compliance for nearly three decades.
