We’re excited to announce the Atlantic Canadian companies participating in Phase 2 of the Market Exploration Program (MEP) Mexico, an important milestone in their market diversification journey. From March 23–27, the companies will be in Mexico City meeting key industry players and exploring partnership opportunities.

Building on the momentum of Phase 1, these five companies demonstrated strong market readiness, scalable solutions, and clear alignment with Mexico’s rapidly evolving digital health landscape.

With growing demand across Mexico’s healthcare sector for preventative care, digital infrastructure, AI-enabled technologies, secure communications, and patient-centred innovation, Phase 2 will focus on deepening in-market engagement, validating commercial opportunities, and refining go-to-market strategies through targeted business development support.

What Phase 2 Means

Phase 2 marks the shift from market exploration into direct market activation. Participating companies will:

  • Engage with qualified Mexican partners and stakeholders
  • Participate in curated, high-value business development meetings
  • Validate regulatory, procurement, and partnership pathways
  • Refine and localize market strategies
  • Advance toward pilot projects, distribution agreements, or strategic collaborations

This cohort represents the strength and maturity of Atlantic Canada’s digital health ecosystem. Their advancement underscores both the calibre of innovation emerging from the region and the expanding opportunity within Mexico’s dynamic healthcare market.

MEP Mexico continues to open new pathways for Atlantic Canadian companies ready to scale globally.

Congratulations to the Phase 2 cohort! We look forward to seeing the partnerships, projects and long-term collaborations that take shape as they engage with Mexico’s healthcare ecosystem.

This project is being supported by the Atlantic Trade and Investment Growth Strategy, a partnership between the Government of Canada and the four Atlantic provincial governments. The Atlantic Trade and Investment Growth Strategy is a collaborative, pan-Atlantic approach which aims to help Atlantic businesses begin exporting, increase their export sales, expand to new markets, and create global partnerships.
