Invest Nova Scotia is seeking Nova Scotia ocean technology companies interested in participating in a trade mission to Sea Tech Week 2026 from October 6-8, 2026, in Brest, France.
Sea Tech Week is an international event dedicated to marine science and technology, held biennially in Brest. It brings together companies, experts, scientific researchers, institutions and students for a professional exhibition, networking opportunities and workshops.
Building on the popular "Ocean Connect" series of virtual sessions, which provide connection between French and Canadian companies in the ocean economy, this mission would be run in partnership with the Government of Nova Scotia and with support from the Ocean Technology Council of Nova Scotia (OTCNS), Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique, and the Regional Government of Brittany, France.

What's included?
The mission would involve attendance at Sea Tech Week with a shared Nova Scotia delegation booth space in the exhibition hall. In addition to Nova Scotia ocean technology companies, the delegation may include representatives from industry associations, academia, government, and various other ocean economy stakeholders. There is potential for a B2B program, site visits, and other activities outside of the conference itself.
Participation Fees
Participation fees are expected to be between $250.00 + HST and $500.00 + HST per organization.
Delegates are responsible for all travel and accommodation related costs. Eligible companies are encouraged to apply to our Export Development Program for support.
