Invest Nova Scotia, in partnership with the Embassy of Canada in Mexico and other industry and provincial partners, is recruiting Nova Scotia agri-food & beverage and seafood companies to co-exhibit in the Canada Pavilion at Expo ANTAD & Alimentaria Mexico (Expo ANTAD) taking place in Guadalajara, Mexico from May 18-21, 2026.

Expo ANTAD is the largest tradeshow in Mexico dedicated to the retail sector and it is one of the premier food and beverage exhibitions in the country, attracting top decision-making buyers. Representatives from supermarkets, department and specialty stores along with importers and distributors from Mexico and internationally attend this show in search of new and innovative consumer ready products. More than 40,000 people attend each year.

The key retailers participating in 2026 include Soriana, Chedraui, La Comer, H-E-B, Casa Ley, OXXO, and Liverpool.

Why participate?

Participating in this program offers a prime opportunity to connect directly with retail buyers and key decision-makers while gaining firsthand insight into the latest trends and innovations shaping Mexico’s retail sector. Companies will benefit from personalized B2B meetings with strategic buyers, supported by comprehensive preparatory materials that include sector-specific market intelligence, practical market entry guidance, and an understanding of retail buyer expectations. Participants will also receive advice on navigating business culture and negotiation practices in Mexico. On the ground, the program features a Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) briefing, guided retail store tours, and a robust B2B program to help companies succeed in the Mexican market.
