ScotiaPort Inc. is advancing a transformational 2,000-acre inland trade, industrial, and clean energy hub in Nova Scotia, strategically positioned along CN's Atlantic main rail line and at the intersection of Highways 102 and 104. Located within Atlantic Canada's primary transportation corridor, the project is designed to strengthen regional supply chains, expand industrial capacity, and improve connectivity to global markets through the Port of Halifax and Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
Backed by private-sector development expertise and meaningful Indigenous participation, ScotiaPort is creating a nationally significant platform for rail-served industry, logistics, manufacturing, transloading, energy infrastructure, and future commercial development. A portion of the site has already achieved CN Certified Rail Ready Site designation, reinforcing its readiness for large-scale industrial investment.
ScotiaPort is being developed as a phased, multi-use infrastructure platform that will unlock new industrial and logistics capacity for Atlantic Canada. The master-planned development includes rail-served industrial lands, logistics and distribution facilities, transload and terminal infrastructure, value-added manufacturing opportunities, utility infrastructure, and future renewable energy developments.
The project is uniquely positioned to complement the Port of Halifax by extending trade and industrial activity inland, creating development-ready sites for manufacturers, logistics operators, energy developers, and commercial tenants. ScotiaPort's flexible development model allows investors to participate in individual asset classes or across the broader integrated platform.
As engineering, environmental planning, infrastructure design, and partnership discussions continue to advance, ScotiaPort is seeking strategic investors, development partners, operators, anchor tenants, and clean energy participants to help shape one of Atlantic Canada's most significant industrial growth opportunities.
