Join the Nova Scotia delegation at Web Summit Lisbon 2026—one of the world's leading technology conferences—from November 9 -12, 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Participating companies will gain international exposure, connect with global investors and industry leaders, and explore new partnership and market expansion opportunities beyond Atlantic Canada.

Why participate

This trade mission is designed to equip Nova Scotia start-ups with the knowledge, connections, and exposure needed to pursue international growth opportunities. Selected companies will be given access to:

• Up to three Startup Program passes for their team to participate in all three days of the conference event, including Night Summit.
• Their own exhibiting booth co-branded with Invest Nova Scotia to showcase their innovation for one full day.
• Networking events, investor meetings, mentor hours, and master classes during the conference.
• A dedicated startup success manager to help startups get the most out of the conference experience.
• Pre- and post-mission virtual workshops to maximize startups ROI. Topics include: Trade Mission Preparation, Investor-Readiness, and Pitching in a Conference Environment, and Follow Up.
  In-market support to maximize business impact.
• Travel assistance up to a maximum of $2,150.00 per person (for up to two people) via Invest Nova Scotia's Export Development Program—Stream One. Companies are responsible for applying for travel funding and must be approved prior to travel.

Participation fee

The fee to participate is $399.00 ($350.00 + $49.00 HST). Only companies selected to be part of the Nova Scotia delegation will be required to pay the participation fee. A payment link will be provided upon acceptance.
