As manager of regional development at Invest Nova Scotia, I lead a dedicated team whose goal is to drive economic growth, innovation, and sustainability by helping businesses—both new and established—reach their full potential.
My journey into economic development began in 2009 after a successful career in financial services, primarily with East Coast Credit Union. Transitioning to economic development allowed me to focus on what truly drives me: supporting local businesses and fostering community growth. With a BBA in Finance and Marketing from Acadia University, I bring a blend of financial acumen and strategic insight to my role.
In my previous role as a business development advisor for Cape Breton, I was deeply involved in the business community, helping companies expand beyond Nova Scotia’s borders. Now, I’m excited to support a team that delivers these services across the entire province. I believe in the power of collaboration and the idea that “it takes a village” to build thriving communities.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about the outdoors, camping, and hockey—both playing and coaching. I live in Queensville, Nova Scotia, with my husband and our three children, where we enjoy everything this beautiful part of our province has to offer.
If you’re passionate about growing Nova Scotia businesses and communities, please get in touch. We are always happy to welcome more people into the “village.”
