I’ve discovered that many Nova Scotia businesses are primed for export success. They may even be exporters without realizing it. My job is to help aspiring and accidental exporters become confident players on the global stage.

I’ve spent my career working across public, private, and non-profit sectors, which has given me a deep appreciation for the innovative businesses that call Nova Scotia home. As an Export Development Executive at Invest Nova Scotia, I focus on supporting businesses owned by underrepresented communities—including women, Indigenous Peoples, African Nova Scotians—helping them succeed in new markets.

My journey into export development started with a desire to have my knowledge and experience impact the community I call home. I love uncovering the unique stories behind Nova Scotia’s businesses and knowing that I play a small part in their success. Whether it’s guiding a business through the complexities of market entry or helping them craft a strategy to expand globally, I find tremendous satisfaction in contributing to the economic growth of our province.
