Ben McDade is an Investment Principal at Invest Nova Scotia, where he supports early-stage deep technology companies in securing capital and expanding into international markets. With a strong commitment to fostering innovation, he plays a key role in helping entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of fundraising and business growth.
Before joining Invest Nova Scotia, Ben worked with the First Angel Network, Atlantic Canada’s largest angel investor association. A proud Nova Scotian, he earned his degree from the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University and has firsthand experience as a technology entrepreneur. Most recently, he co-founded an AI-based software solution for the animation industry while participating in the Next AI Accelerator Program in Montreal.
