As Invest Nova Scotia’s Business Development Advisor for Cape Breton, my focus is simple: to help local businesses succeed, because when they grow, our communities flourish. I’ve spent my career supporting entrepreneurs and community builders, helping turn ideas into reality. From hands-on advising to building collaborative programs, I understand the opportunities and challenges of starting and scaling a company here. I meet business owners where they are, listen to their goals, and guide them toward clear next steps.
What excites me most is building Cape Breton’s future while preserving what makes it special — its collaborative spirit, breathtaking landscapes, and welcoming communities. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing local businesses succeed and knowing that success strengthens the island as a whole.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me catching a Port Hood sunset, hiking in the highlands, or watching hockey and football. I’m also a dedicated reader (130 books in one year!) and a big Taylor Swift fan.
