Kaitlin Webb is a Business Growth Executive at Invest Nova Scotia, where she plays a key role in advancing the province's economic development through support of local start ups. Based in Dartmouth, Kaitlin manages Invest Nova Scotia Accelerate, a cohort-based program that provides funding and tailored support to early-stage technology companies. The program helps founders reach key business and technical milestones to become investment-ready.
Before joining Invest Nova Scotia, Kaitlin spent several years wearing many hats at a sports technology start up. There she had a front-row seat to the growth of a company that scaled from a handful of employees to nearly 100. She played a key marketing role through its acquisition, which became Canada’s largest sports tech exit.
That experience ignited her passion for helping other start ups grow, scale, and navigate the complex path to commercialization. Kaitlin is especially driven to support early-stage founders as they move through Nova Scotia’s start up ecosystem. She brings both personal experience and lessons learned from working with tons of founders, advisors and partners both locally and globally. Her focus is on making those early, messy, and exciting stages of start up life a little more manageable and helping founders feel supported and connected every step of the way.
